50+ Years of exceptional service

In 1956, the Harrison family became the 6th permanent family to reside in Surfside Beach, South Carolina. T.J. (Billy) Harrison Sr. opened one of the first businesses located along what is now Hwy 17 Business; the first grocery store in the area. That very necessary service grew to address others similar as the needs of the people grew. In 1964, Mr. Harrison and a small group of visionary men saw the need to improve services to residents, and incorporated to become the Town of Surfside Beach.  Mr. Harrison was elected as the first Mayor of Surfside Beach and served two consecutive terms. From those very important beginnings to the present day, the Harrison Family has been instrumental in the growth of the Town of Surfside Beach from a sleep little seaside village and community to become the very desirable tourist and permanent resident destination it is today.

Since the mid 1960's the Harrison family has provided "family to family" real estate service to so many vacationers and residents alike. In 1968, Mr. Harrison began another tradition; opening Harrison Realty Company. Upon opening, Harrison Realty Co. offered a full complement of complete real estate service to the entire South Grand Strand, of the very first - again! Providing annual and vacation rentals, and of course, full residential real estate sales, we are proud to say we are now in our third generation of real estate brokerage to the Grand Strand area. Randy Harrison became a Broker in 1979, and took over as Broker-In-Charge upon the retirement of Billy and Janette Harrison in 1983. Randy and his wife, Janice, continued the tradition of the family business. In 2011, middle son, Charles Harrison, joined the firm to create the third generation. Charles became Broker-In-Charge, in 2018 and continues the family heritage and record of high ethics in serving the public. We continue to remember where we came from, what sets us apart, and why we do what we do - it's all about SERVICE!
